Pancake Day

Reception have had a fabulous day finding out about pancake day. We discovered why we have pancakes and the importance of Shrove Tuesday as the start of Lent. We enjoyed lots of pancake related activities. We talked about healthy and unhealthy toppings on pancakes, chose our favourite toppings for pancakes which we then ate, had our own pancake race and even flipped the pancakes and read the tricky words!
