Monday 29 September 2025 Victorian Experience Our Yr 6 pupils visited the Black Country Living Museum today. They participated in some lessons based on the 3Rs in school; they had a go on the rides at the fairground; and many of them bought sweets and cakes from the shops.

Monday 29 September 2025 Extra Curricular clubs-board games This half term we have a key Stage 1 board games club happening on a Thursday 3.30-4.30 The children are all having a wonderful time learning and playing games with their friends.

Wednesday 24 September 2025 Tooth Dinosaur visits Yr 1 Year 1 had a special visit from NHS dental nurses yesterday! They taught us all about how to take care of our teeth, including which foods and drinks are good (and not so good!) for keeping our smiles healthy. The children listened really well, asked lots of thoughtful questions, and enjoyed learning about dental hygiene in a fun and engaging way!

Saturday 13 September 2025 New Bikes for EYFS We have had an amazing delivery this week!! We have received brand new trikes and scooters! Reception were eager to get outside and try them and have really enjoyed riding them!

Saturday 6 September 2025 Ingestre Hall Residential for Yr 4 We are delighted to announce that we have managed to book a residential trip for 2 nights to Ingestre Hall in Stafford for our year 4 pupils in Jan. The children will get the opportunity to choose from a drama, art, animation. dance or music programme. Pupils were given letters yesterday. There is a parent's meeting on Wed at 3.45pm. Thursday 4 September 2025 Christmas Shoe Box appeal It has been lovely to welcome the children back to school this week.We have been asked to support the Christmas Shoebox appeal by Rev Julia at St Benedict's church. We are asking each class to fill a box of small items and they will be sent to children in Gambia. If you wish to do your own box as a family, please send your box into school by Fri 26th September.Here are some of the items that can be included. We ask for each child to bring one small item into class by Fri 26th September.

Monday 14 July 2025 Yr 4 Geography Trip Blue skies for our Year 4 children today! They had a great time studying the river course and trekking up to the waterfall at Carding Mill Valley today! They showed lots of perseverance in the hot conditions.

Monday 14 July 2025 EYFS Sports Day 2025 Nursery and Reception had a fantastic time taking part in their Sports Day today. They completed a variety of shaded sports activities and finished off with a rewarding tip top! Tuesday 8 July 2025 Yr 2 Trip to Weston Year 2 had a fantastic time at Weston-Super-Mare today! The sun shone, we built sandcastles, we paddled and a few ice creams were consumed. All the children were a credit to Blakeley and made us immensely proud . Many thanks to all our parent helpers and volunteers.

Thursday 26 June 2025 Nursery Trip to Dudley Zoo We like to ensure all of our pupils enjoy an enriched curriculum. Today, our youngest children from our nursery, Blakeley Bears, had a sunny trip to Dudley Zoo. They saw a whole variety of animals and enjoyed a journey on the train.

Thursday 26 June 2025 Yr 3 Geography Fieldwork Yr 3 enjoyed a trip to the village today to do some geography fieldwork. They have been learning about the different land use in Wombourne. The pupils used their skills to map out the village. Thank you so much to our parent and grandparent helpers.

Wednesday 11 June 2025 Yr 4 Waterworks Year 4 are really enjoying their new topic 'Waterworks'. We have made our own water cycles in a bag and went outside, using the sand pit, to learn about how rivers form and flow.
