Saturday 28 March 2026 West End Trip 2026 Every year, we offer the children a chance to visit the West End in London to watch a musical. This year, 60 children and 10 adults went to watch Hercules and they loved it.

Saturday 28 March 2026 Comic Relief 2026 Following our comic relief day we are proud to say we raised a huge amount for this great cause. We broke the rules, came to school with crazy hair, and took part in a design-yer nose competition. We raised a staggering £842.01. Thank you to the generosity of our parents, families and school community.

Friday 20 March 2026 St Patrick's Day in nursery Yesterday, Nursery enjoyed going on a numbered Leprechaun hunt to find the gold at the bottom of the rainbow. They completed a range of rainbow inspired activities and found out all about St.Patrick's day. #WombourneNursery #blakeleybears

Monday 9 March 2026 Keyboard Showcase Well done to our young keyboard/piano students who entertained the school so wonderfully Tuesday afternoon. Music tutor, Mr Harvey, was very proud of them all, and would like to thank the pupils and teachers in the audience for their warm and enthusiastic reception.

Tuesday 17 February 2026 Chinese New Year 2026 Happy Chinese New Year! Our Reception children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year, exploring different cultures and traditions with great curiosity and enthusiasm. The children took part in a range of hands-on experiences. They engaged in messy play inspired by festival celebrations, created beautiful artwork including dragons and lanterns, and enjoyed imaginative role play in our Chinese restaurant and home corner. In PE, the children worked together to perform their very own dragon dance.
